I can't believe it's been a year since I started. So much has changed for me, some good, some bad. I kicked an old girlfriend out of my life and am now struggling to hold onto the new one. There's been problems for awhile which are mostly my fault. I always do stupid things, no surprise to long time readers, and did it again with Meg. Not sure if I can come back from this one.
Department spending has eased up and there seems to be movement again. The company is privately held with strong ties to military and other government agencies. A new investor just came in giving all areas a much needed influx of capitol. I'm back to full time in Orion and focused on cellular restruction. We're so close. All the theories are sound and the simulations work perfectly, just can't get live testing to work. It's tough when a process is viewed as impossible by the scientific world. The end results will hopefully have a major historic impact like the discovery of a spherical Earth and space flight.
The gene race has been on for awhile and the competition is fierce. Forbes just published a competitor's genetics scanner which is inferior to Area Orion's Celldat model. Meg was furious since it was her project. The directors had a round table meeting with Lab 1 staff to set the record straight and keep them on course to integration. Not sure if it helped.
That's it for now, I'll try to update more often.
